Hayden joined the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research as Office Manager in February 2016. Hayden was drawn the Foundation by the opportunity to help build the administrative processes of a new organization.
Prior to working at the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, Mr. Galante developed his passion for sustainability during his time at the University of California Global Food Initiative, where he helped develop and plan an urban growing space in a food desert in southeast San Diego. Most recently, Mr. Galante interned in both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, where he aided congressional staff providing counsel on natural resource policy for the State of Oregon.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Mr. Galante has a B.A. in Political Science. As a student, Mr. Galante’s studies focused on American politics and election administration.
