Director of Strategic Planning
Katy Raymond joined the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research as its first employee in October 2014. She was attracted by the incredible opportunity to help launch an organization from seed stage to a fully functioning foundation. Ms. Raymond is most interested in exploring new ways to highlight the importance of food and agriculture research on a national and international scale. Prior to joining FFAR, she worked at Destination: College, a New York-based nonprofit whose mission is turning athletes into student athletes. Ms. Raymond has also worked at Shared Interest, a nonprofit social investment fund that raises capital in the U.S. to promote financial inclusion in South Africa; WFUV Radio in Promotions and Marketing; NY Presbyterian in Talent Acquisition; and at Bloomingdale’s as Manager of the Trim Shop. She graduated from Fordham University with degrees in English and International Political Economy.
