Lizzy Haymaker

Development Operations Manager

Lizzy Haymaker joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) as the development operations manager in October 2022.

In this role, she manages development operations, analyzing reports and data and broadly supports the creation of public-private partnerships. She also coordinates with departments across the organization to identify opportunities to streamline operations.

Prior to joining FFAR, Haymaker was a senior associate at the Pew Charitable Trusts, providing strategic support to the Partnerships Department. She played a critical role in developing and strengthening cross-departmental relationships to amplify collaboration. Haymaker also collaborated on large-scale collaborative partnerships and developed priority fundraising strategies.

Haymaker has also held various roles on the Development Team at Trout Unlimited. In these roles, she managed the operations and coordination of Trout Unlimited’s Major Giving program. She also worked with other departments across the organization to improve financial tracking and data management.

While interning at North Florida Land Trust in college, Haymaker realized a passion for connecting community to the natural spaces around them. Since then, she has dedicated her career to supporting collaborative partnerships addressing today’s most critical environmental and agriculture issues.

Haymaker holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in environmental science from the University of North Florida. In her free time, Haymaker enjoys cooking, running and adding to her houseplant collection.
