As controller of the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), Effie Mills oversees the accounting functions pertaining to the Foundation’s grants and manages FFAR’s daily accounting operations.
Before joining FFAR in May 2024, Mills served as the director of finance at United Soybean Board during her time at CliftonLarsonAllen. Prior to that, she worked at the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit accounting and compliance, Mills brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role.
Mills holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a master’s degree of business administration in accounting from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Outside of work, Mills enjoys cooking, interior decorating and spending quality time with family.
