Prior to joining FFAR, Gaowen worked as a sales development representative at an AI startup in New York City, where he managed outbound prospecting and qualified leads for the sales team. He also contributed to grant and impact data work at The Majurity Trust in Singapore, analyzing program data across a portfolio of community initiatives and organizations. As a graduate consultant through Georgetown University, Gaowen developed a go-to-market strategy for a telecommunications company based in Madrid, conducting market research and building financial projections. Earlier, he consulted for local businesses through the Bucknell Small Business Development Center and volunteered at the Bucknell University Farm, where he prepared soil, planted seeds and harvested crops.
Gaowen expects to receive a Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bucknell University, with minors in music and philosophy. Fluent in Mandarin, he spends his time outside of work running, surfing, hiking and producing music.
