Nikki Dutta joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research in August 2019 as a scientific program associate. Dutta was later promoted to a scientific program officer, a role in which she provides program support to the Cultivating Thriving Production Systems Priority Area.
Some of her responsibilities include supporting the International Consortium for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Agriculture (ICASA), managing the Veterinary Student Research Fellowship program, and assisting with content development for new and existing programs. Dutta is excited and passionate to be working in the animal agriculture space.
Prior to joining FFAR, Dutta worked for an environmental services company where she provided technical services support to environmental, health and safety consultants.
Outside of the office, Dutta enjoys traveling, cooking and biking. She will also almost always pet your dog, if permitted.
Dutta earned a master’s degree in sustainability management from American University and completed her undergraduate studies in international business and management from Dickinson College.
