Maile Hartsook joined FFAR in January 2018 as the Development Associate. Prior to joining FFAR, she worked as the Development Intern at the Brookings Institution. She relocated to Washington DC in 2017, after working as a Program Coordinator in economic development in Northern California. Her interest in food and agriculture stems from her time as a UC Global Food Initiative fellow, where she implemented and funded three urban agriculture projects at UC Santa Barbara. She is excited to combine her interests in food and agriculture and non-profit development at FFAR.
Maile received a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Professional Writing from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
