Marina Middleton joined the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research as a Grants Management Associate in October 2017. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the Foundation’s grant policies and grants operations throughout the grant life cycle. Ms. Middleton was drawn to FFAR’s mission and challenge areas by her strong personal interest in sustainable, innovative agriculture. Prior to joining FFAR, she was a Research Assistant at the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center, where she supported research activities investigating global levels of financial literacy and the pedagogy being fielded to improve peoples’ knowledge of financial topics. When she is not working with the grants team, she is practicing karate or spending time with friends and family.
She received her B.S. in economics with a minor in statistics from the George Washington University in the District of Columbia.
