Carlye Goldman joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) in February 2022 as a development associate.
As FFAR’s Development Associate II, Goldman serves as the prospect research lead for the Development Team. She is also responsible for providing administrative and organizational support by maintaining the fundraising database, collaborating interdepartmentally on projects related to donor stewardship and measuring the organization through robust metrics tracking.
Prior to joining FFAR, Goldman taught English in Latin America as well as virtually to students across Asia. She lived in the Antioquia region of Colombia for over a year, where her love for the Spanish language flourished. Upon her return to the United States, she worked as a new roots marketing & outreach intern at the International Rescue Committee, where she conducted community outreach to build strategic partnerships, developed multimedia content and provided support to refugee farmers starting small agriculture businesses.
Goldman also served as an AmeriCorps member and Climate Corps education outside fellow with SEI: Strategic Energy Innovations. In this capacity, she taught bilingual, garden-based science and environmental literacy lessons at a Spanish language immersion elementary school in the Bay Area in California. In this position, she developed a deeper passion for nutrition, food security and sustainable agriculture in vulnerable populations. She is excited to help address the biggest challenges in food and agriculture by supporting partnership development.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social entrepreneurship with a minor in global health from Rollins College. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking, gardening and spending time outdoors.
