B. Clarice Ulu joined FFAR in August 2023 as the executive assistant & office manager.

Clarice has more than 20 years’ experience as an executive assistant supporting senior executives and their teams. Prior to FFAR, Clarice worked in a temporary role at the Aspen Institute for the College Excellence Program to support the executive director. She has also worked at Center City Public Charter School as the board liaison and executive assistant to the President. For almost six years, she worked at DC Prep Public Charter School with the Founder, CEO and COO supporting their mission to elevate students in underserved communities and prepare them academically and personally to succeed in competitive high schools and colleges. For 13 years, Clarice worked in the Washington, DC Office of Educational Testing Service as an office manager and executive assistant to several vice presidents.. This role allowed her to interact with internal staff and external clients to ensure they received excellent customer service.

Clarice has three daughters and one granddaughter. When she’s not working, Clarice likes to read, listen to music, watch movies, especially foreign ones and visit with friends. Her favorite food is the Maryland Blue crab.

Clarice has a bachelor’s degree in public administration/government management from Southeastern University.
