Hannah Booth joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) in a full-time capacity in September of 2024 after serving as an external consultant for the organization for over two years.
Her role as the human resources operations coordinator is to support FFAR’s strategic, people-centered approach to human resources through focusing on the full employment life cycle of staff. In collaboration with the associate HR director, Booth helps spearhead projects related to talent acquisitions, talent development, performance management, employee relations and compensation.
Prior to FFAR, Booth worked as a HR consultant for two years at a non-profit consulting firm where she strategized and supported several clients across the United States. She has also held a position as the sole HR practitioner and director at a construction company with over 300 employees. In this position, she was responsible for all facets of HR management and led strategic and tactical initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
Booth holds a master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology and HR management and a master’s degree of business administration from Appalachian State University. Additionally, Booth holds a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Outside of work, she owns her own wedding photography business in North Carolina, enjoys traveling, quaint coffee shops, and spending time with her family and friends.
