Ioannis (Yannis) Mimigiannis is a Partnerships & Development intern supporting FFAR’s mission in sustainable agroecosystems and healthy food systems. His connection with agriculture dates back to his grandparents’ farm in Greece, where he spent his first years of life playing among the olive trees and helping feed sheep and goats.
Yannis brings experience from both institutional and operational environments and enjoys building relationships, conducting partner research and engaging with diverse stakeholders. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, which strengthened his analytical and problem-solving skills and complements his interest in partnership-driven work that advances science and agriculture.
He is pursuing a master of science in business analytics & artificial intelligence at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is excited to contribute to a partner-driven team dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture and healthy food systems.
Outside of the office, you will find him watching and analyzing his favorite soccer team (Panathinaikos) and reading history books.
