Jacob Mogler always felt pulled to visually tell stories. It was this passion, paired with his rural Iowa roots that led him to pursue communications in the agricultural/natural resources space. He is the digital marketing associate at the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), a position he took on in December 2023. In this position, Mogler collaborates on communications and outreach strategies, fosters digital engagement and drives FFAR’s online reach and impact.
Before joining FFAR, Mogler worked as the first digital marketing coordinator for the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) out of Eugene, Oregon. There, he oversaw the development of OMRI’s online brand presence, engagement and impact.
Prior to that, Mogler produced a wide array of video and photo campaigns for small businesses and nonprofits. During that time, he also produced two award-winning documentaries.
Before his communications work, Mogler has experience in conservation, natural resources and service in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry team leader.
He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in digital communications from Oregon State University. He resides in Oregon with his wife and son, where he also manages a growing sheep farm.
