Marina Middleton joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) as a grants management associate in October 2017. She has since been promoted to grants management officer. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the Foundation’s grant policies and grants operations throughout the grant life cycle. Middleton was drawn to FFAR’s mission and research priorities by her strong personal interest in sustainable, innovative agriculture.
Prior to joining FFAR, she was a research assistant at the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center, where she supported research activities investigating global levels of financial literacy and the pedagogy used to improve peoples’ financial knowledge.
Marina received her bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in statistics from The George Washington University in the District of Columbia.
