Nikki Dutta joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research in August 2019 as a scientific program associate. She is responsible for providing program support to the Advanced Animal Systems and Next Generation Crops Challenge Areas. In this role, she oversees the grant application review process and organizes convening events to identify research gaps, which inform future programs and funding opportunities. Dutta also supports two of FFAR consortia: International Consortium for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Agriculture and the Crops of the Future Collaborative. Dutta is excited and passionate to be working in the food and agriculture space.

Outside of the office, Dutta enjoys traveling, cooking and biking. She will also almost always pet your dog, if permitted.

Dutta received a bachelor’s degree in international business and management, a minor in Spanish and a Health Studies Certification from Dickinson College. She is pursuing a master’s degree at American University in sustainability management.
