As principal of PR Consulting, Polly Ruhland is a seasoned strategist with more than 25 years of experience in food and agriculture systems. Polly offers her expertise and training to help organizations and individuals excel and thrive. Her experience gained through 17 years in executive leadership, 13 as a nonprofit CEO, bolstered her knowledge of strategy, culture, process efficiency and organizational change management.
Polly holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in agriculture. Additionally, her work at the Ph.D. level focused on strategic decision-making processes in agricultural cooperatives. She is a certified mediator with professional credentials in the federal Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts.
Polly’s work received international recognition through her Eisenhower Fellowship for International Leaders. She currently serves on several boards including the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR), Children Learning through Outdoor Experience (ChLOE) and the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA). Her consulting clients range from global companies to local charities.
