Tien Vo joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) as a soil health intern in May 2023.

In this role, Vo supports programs and grants processed under the Sustaining Vibrant Agroecosystems Priority Area. She assists in developing processes and tools to optimize program management and developing communication materials to report program priorities and impact.

Prior to joining FFAR, Vo worked as a research assistant within the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, she collected data to support soil geomorphology research in the Central Great Plains. Vo also worked as a student technician at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Soil and Forage Analysis Lab, preparing soil and forage samples for biological, chemical and physical analysis.

Vo earned a bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching basketball and volunteering.
