The Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) hosted the International Consortium for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Agriculture (ICASA) Research Symposium & Reception in Kansas City, Mo. The event gathered a diverse group of stakeholders — including researchers, veterinarians, producers, public health professionals, industry leaders and policy experts — to reflect on ICASA-supported research since 2019 while helping to shape priorities for the next phase of investment.

The symposium highlighted cutting-edge research, collaborative partnerships and innovative strategies driving responsible antibiotic use in livestock production. Through panel discussions, lightning talks and networking opportunities, participants explored emerging scientific advances and future directions for antimicrobial stewardship research.
