For agriculture to successfully navigate extreme weather events, we must work collaboratively and work at scale. Farmers and scientists must collaborate, operating with one vision and one voice.

The Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) and the World Farmers Organization (WFO), proposed “a living solution to changing weather patterns in Agriculture.” FFAR, USFRA and WFO hope to mobilize farmers, scientists, partner organizations and financial resources to develop and implement emissions-reducing innovations at scales and rates previously imagined. Understanding the potential benefits and challenges, USFRA, WFO and FFAR agreed that it is imperative that we explore the needs and challenges of shifting weather patterns on agriculture and bring together other stakeholders in the space and continue to identify obstacles and opportunities.
