Fertilizer is essential for productive agriculture, but when crops cannot use all the nutrients applied, farmers can lose money on wasted inputs and excess nutrients can affect soil health and water quality. The FFAR-OCP Disruptive Fertilizer Technology Fellowship supports early-career scientists developing new ways to improve fertilizer efficiency, crop productivity and plant and soil health.

Join FFAR and OCP North America, a subsidiary of the global plant-nutrition company OCP Group, to hear how two former fellows are advancing new fertilizer technologies and what they are learning from their research. The discussion will highlight emerging breakthroughs and the potential for these innovations to help farmers get more value from fertilizer while reducing nutrient losses.

The webinar features 2023 FFAR-OCP Fellows Dr. Fabian Beeckman of the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology and Dr. Benjamin Wang of Stanford University.
