Taking ACTION: Promoting Water Conservation Practices

Despite the benefits of in-field, edge-of-field and edge-of-stream conservation practices for crop, soil and watershed health, implementation stands on less than 10 percent of all U.S. croplands. We urgently need better strategies to encourage and enable large-scale practice adoption.

To support farmers more effectively, FFAR and the Walton Family Foundation launched the Achieving Conservation through Targeting Information, Outreach and Networking (ACTION) program.

This webinar, celebrating FFAR’s 10-year anniversary, featured presentations from the ACTION grantees. They shared emerging insights regarding effective outreach and partnership strategies to promote sustainable water management practice adoption.
