The Efficient Fertilizer Consortium welcomes applications from all domestic and international higher education institutions, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and government-affiliated research agencies.
The Efficient Fertilizer Consortium supports applied research that accelerates the development and wider adoption of EEFs that increase crop nutrient use efficiency, support desired crop yield and reduce nutrient losses. Launched in 2022, the Efficient Fertilizer Consortium is a $10.45 million initiative managed by FFAR with partners including Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Azotic Technologies, Cotton Incorporated, ICL Group, the Ministries of Israel (including the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security), the Novo Nordisk Foundation, OCP Group, Pivot Bio, The Platform for Agriculture and Climate Transformation (PACT) and the United Soybean Board.
