Isabelle Ick joined the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR) as a development research intern in February 2024. She supports the Development Team with potential partner research, landscape overviews and weekly news updates.

Ick’s career interests in international development and her previous work experience has fueled her interest in food systems.

Ick served as a sustainable agriculture systems Peace Corps volunteer in Benin until evacuation due to COVID-19. She soon after joined Corus International, a development NGO, as a senior program associate supporting development efforts and project implementation.

Ick is currently pursuing a master’s degree in global human development from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. In her spare time, Ick enjoys travelling, trying new foods and spending time outdoors.
