From Pre-Application to Final Report: “Stacking the Deck” for a Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research Grant Award
This Competitive Grants Breakout Session Wednesday, April 2, 10:45 a.m. – noon, EDT was presented by Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research’s Director of Grants Management Magda Galindo and Communications Officer Michelle Olgers.
Attendees learned how to “Stack the Deck” by understanding how FFAR works with applicants before, during and after awards to facilitate the reporting process and amplify communications about the project and its results. They also discovered which opportunities are open year-round, do not require a financial match and/or are for student and faculty career development.
